2mm Stainless Steel | Edition of 21

La Muerte Veintiuno is the first release in the Finite By Design Signature Collection built around original artwork where the design itself takes the lead.

Engraved onto 2mm thick mirror-finish stainless steel in a TCG-sized format, La Muerte combines detailed laser engraving with selective MOPA color. The shifting color responds to light and viewing angle, giving the otherwise permanent stainless surface a changing character.

The back carries a dense repeating pattern with more than one detail worth a closer look.

The Piece

TCG-sized, 2mm thick mirror-finish 304 stainless steel, individually laser engraved and finished with selective MOPA color.

Each piece is serialized 01/21 through 21/21. Collectors select their preferred serial from the available pool at the time of purchase.

The Variants

La Muerte Veintiuno is available in two variants. Both share the same 21-piece edition pool.

Maker Funded

0.0021 BTC is loaded to the piece within 48 hours of confirmed delivery and is verifiable on-chain.

Private key generation and laser application are performed entirely within Finite's permanently air-gapped environment. The private key is engraved directly onto the stainless steel as a QR code and protected beneath Finite's Cold Storage Seal Gen 1 tamper-evident hologram.

MAKER FUNDED is engraved on the reverse.

Buyer Funded

The piece ships unfunded, allowing the collector to independently fund the piece after delivery if desired.

The public Bitcoin address is accessible via the QR code on the Cold Storage Seal Gen 1 hologram, allowing funds to be sent to the piece without exposing the private key beneath the seal.

The Seal

The private key remains protected beneath the Cold Storage Seal Gen 1 hologram until redemption.

When redeeming, place your phone in airplane mode before scanning the private key. Hologram residue can be removed using 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth with gentle circular motions. This method has been tested without affecting the underlying engraving or MOPA color.

Finite Anomaly 1

Hidden within the numbered edition is Finite Anomaly 1.

Following the introduction of Anomaly 0 within Block Zero, one piece within La Muerte Veintiuno has been intentionally altered.

Which piece and what was changed will remain undisclosed until the edition closes. Once revealed, the Anomaly becomes part of the permanent provenance of the edition.

The Presentation

Each La Muerte Veintiuno is housed in a one-touch magnetic card holder for display and protection.

The Full Edition

The numbered collector edition consists of 21 pieces, serialized 01/21 through 21/21.

Two additional pieces exist outside the numbered edition:

AP - Artist Proof, retained by Finite By Design.

0 - Held by Finite outside the numbered edition.

The AP and 0 are not part of the 21-piece collector edition.
