A one-of-one Serial 0 interpretation of Casascius XV in brass, created outside the original numbered edition and retained in the Finite by Design archive.

Serial 0 preserves the visual language and core design of the Casascius XV Brass Edition while reinterpreting the piece in deep 3D relief. The Bitcoin mark, radial fields, lettering, dates, and surrounding details rise from the surface with sculpted depth rather than the flatter engraved treatment of the production edition.

The deep engraving is paired with an intentionally aged, old-world finish. Darkened recesses, softened highlights, and subtle variation across the surface give the piece an artifact-like character distinct from the original Casascius XV release.

The reverse carries three concentric rings of binary surrounding the cold-storage field, with ZERO incorporated directly into the design. The private key is concealed beneath a Finite by Design tamper-evident hologram.

Created individually over several hours of deep engraving, this piece serves as the singular Brass Serial 0 interpretation of Casascius XV. A corresponding Stainless Steel Serial 0 was created separately.
